Wider and longer than it's BicycooBMX brother, the Bicycoo is a great lightweight bike, but its seat height range offers little room for growth.

Joovy offers two balance bikes that are hands down the most stylish bikes on the market.  In a sea of boring standard issue bikes, BicycooGT and BMX are the fashionable new comers that quickly draw the attention of parents and kids alike.  With their sleek lines and contrasting colors, kids can’t help but want to ride the Bicycoo any chance they get.  Top that off with a solid frame and high-end braking system and you’ve got a balance bike that is sure to be the envy of the neighborhood.  The lack of adjustability in both models however, leaves something to be desired.  The seat posts in the GT adjust a mere 1.25″ while the handlebars on the BMX are fixed, but for kids over three, the minimal adjustments are sufficient.  Our test riders also found the foam handlebar grips to be too small and wanted a little more wiggle room for their fingers.

Pros: Great styling, high-quality build, wide tires, covered bolts, hand brake

Cons: Minimal seat adjustments, foam grips

Bottom Line: A top-of-the-line construction bike with an eye

Best For:  Pavement-riding 2.5 year-olds who may benefit from the ease of balance provided by wide tires.

The Joovy BicycooGT is akin to that stylish girl in high school who just happens to be an athletic superstar and an academic genius as well.  The GT’s contrasting colors and sleek lines also won over the judges at Europe’s largest trade show whom award it several design awards.  Like the BMX, the GT is well-built with a solid frame, but with the added bonus of an adjustable handlebar without a turning limiter.  The seat post however, only adjusts a mere inch and a quarter, which will be limiting to long-legged riders.  As an added bonus the GT has 12″ extra wide tires (see pictures below), which not only helps kids balance, they also look dang cool.
