A great, low-budget helmet with high-end features. The Flow helmet is narrow, creating a tight fit for round heads, but a great fit for narrow heads.

The Garneau brand has been riding with people of all ages for over 25 years and their popularity speaks volumes for their products. The Louis Garneau Flow toddler/children’s helmet is no exception. With two sizes and eleven creative graphics, the Flow helmet is sure to please your little one. Graphics range from cupcakes to cheerleaders, clowns to police cars and definitely appeal to kids with their whimsical designs and bright colors. With a dial-adjust inner support and locking sliders, the around $25 Flow offers top-notch quality with a big-box store price tag.
Design to maintain it’s proper adjustment, the locking sliders prevent the chin straps from sliding out of place below the ear during use. Extensive washable interior pads are also a great feature of the Flow. With six separate pads, versus the standard three, the Flow provides additional comfort to kids with padding around the complete helmet. One feature we found lacking in the Flow however, was that the top-mounted chin straps do not thread through the back dial-adjust support of the helmet. While minor, the rear-threaded straps tend to make helmets easier to put on for kids, but certainly not necessary.
Additional features of the Flow include a built-in visor, eleven vents-three with bug netting, two reflection decals and a one-year warranty.
