Toddler Bikes Comparison Chart

Toddlers as young as 12 months are NOT able to ride a true balance bike because they haven’t yet mastered walking and running.

Ride-on toys that teach a toddler to sit and push with their feet to move and/or teach a child to steer are great “pre-balance bikes” for young toddlers. They teach the basics without requiring them to balance the bike.

The chart may be sorted by clicking on the header of each column (works best in desktop).
